2004 Acura TL Q&A

2004 Acura TL Question: Front end noise

My car makes a loud chattering noise after start up, at low speeds, when turning. This occurs on both sides. It occurs more frequesntly when it is cold out. -
Answer 1
it probably is your wheel bearings you can check that out at your local mechanic -
Answer 2
By your description, it sounds like your power steering pump may be causing the noise. Some of those vehicles had a recall to update the power steering hose due to a potential leak. If this has not been done, I recommend checking to see if your vehicle is affected by that recall. If the recall was performed, sometimes during the recall, the technician may have not updated the inlet hose oring to the pump. The updated oring is orange, the old one is black. If this was not updated then the dealer needs to correct it. -
