Are you an aggressive driver? Do you like taking corners fast? This could do it. It may also be that there was a problem with the original alignment specs and the manufacturer may have updated specs. Have you checked with Toyota to see if they have seen this problem?

Another problem could just be your tires. Your tire tread pattern may have softer rubber on the outside, making it wear out faster.

Check wheel bearings. Could be loose causing outer tire wear, specifically "cupping" on the outside edges
