Question: front driver window off the track on 2004 Lexus ES330

Rookie

2004 Lexus ES330 front driver power window is off track and will not go back up. It moves up and down about half way then automatically goes back down because it's off the track somewhere. Tried to hold it in place while operating it but that hasn't worked. Can I fix this myself?

you need a window regulator with a motor. toyta has had these problem for years. i reccomend taking it to a shop as it is involved in removing the panel and removing the assembly while supporting the window.

Thanks Roy for the reply. Wanted to know if I still need a motor since it still does operate in the vehicle now?
