Front Crankshaft seal on 2004 Hyundai Elantra

Any idea of the aprox cost to replace the front crankshaft seal? Could this be done by myself or should a garage?

If you have to ask, then it may not be for you. This will more than likely require a crank pulley removing tool, and if your engine has a timing belt, you will need to replace that as well, because it will be oil soaked and ruined. So that means doing a timing belt replacement. None of the above are as easy as say a brake job. here are some shops: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=27302&car_brand_names=Hyundai
