Front Coil Spring Replacement

Suspension coil springs support the weight of the vehicle and determine the height at which it sits on the road. The springs allow the suspension system to move and adapt to changing road irregularities; they are under extreme pressure.

To replace the suspension coil spring, the suspension is removed from the vehicle; special tools are required to decompress the spring. Suspension coil spring failure may be caused by weak shock absorbers or by carrying more weight than the vehicle is designed for.
