1998 Honda Accord Q&A

1998 Honda Accord Question: front brakes

How do I get the front brake rotors off for replacement -
Answer 1
Once the car is jacked up, wheel removed, the brake caliper bolts are removed (14mm I think), the brake caliper is removed, then the brake caliper mount is removed from the steering knuckle (two 17mm bolts) the brake rotor may have one screw retaining the rotor to the wheel bearing hub or may be just bonded on to the hub with rust. If you all ready have a new set of brake rotors it is obvious. Quite an easy repair. -
