Front brake rotors can wear causing a pulsation felt in the brake pedal. Our technicians often recommend replacement of the front rotors and brake pads as the best option to correct this condition.

Front brakes feel like they are pulsating when applied. Starts off as a rubbing sound, and in time if not repaired goes to a pulsation. Have had new brakes and rotors installed and works fine for a year or so then starts same noise again. One mechanic said the caliper was freezing up. Now I am looking to find out how to prevent caliper from freezing up.
Have replaced brakes and rotors, tire rods and arms(?) . Brakes still grind in morning when back out of garage. Does it also at stop signs, etc. but not all the time. Service traction system light comes on but have been told it is a sensor.
they sold the car to me with the anti-lock brakes not working at 133,000 miles, it now has 138,000 and the pads are wearing thin. I've only had the car 4 months.
