Question: Front brake pads

 Rookie

I just changed front brake pads with OEM. After being installed I was surprised coz the color of the brake pads is GREEN. Is it true OEM brake pads corolla 2011 is green color? I worry if they gave me aftermarket brake pads instead.

So I called the TOYOTA dealer, and they told me that there are 2 types OEM brake pads, Japanese & American. Is that true? Are they the same?
