1999 Ford F-150 Q&A
1999 Ford F-150 Question: Front brake job

Sounds like you have been to Midas ? They will sell you everthing , it is because of the Flat rate system . I definatly would not replace all the above if the calipers are good not leaking , the rotors are fall off , machining is required as to insurance , but at times , not even nessasary , a good sanding works as well if the rotors are not damaged or too shy of material . Take it to a local school votec center , they will do it for free , minus parts . it helps with hands on training for our future mechanics ! John - krabman
