front bearing assembly on 2001 Honda Accord

can someone with a working knowledge of hand tools change a front left wheel bearing assembly without complication

As I look at the service info for this operation, it appears that one must press out the front wheel bearings with a 10 ton ( or more ) press, so it requires more than just hand tools. You could take the steering knuckle to an automotive machine shop and they could do it for you, for a fee. You may be able to buy an assembled steering knuckle with a new bearing already pressed in to it, but it is usually costly.
