cannot remove 4 hi from truck i push the button and i could heer noise like its trying to shift but stays on 4 hi try 4 low all wheel and same thing happens till all lights turn off and i just put in new controll buttons insidepanel

Visitor, January 04, 2011, 11:01Replymust get the truck moving about 5-10 miles an hour, put it in neutral while rolling, then shift to 2 HI by pushing the button. You should be able to put it back in gear and be in two hi. You can normally shift from 2 HI to Auto 4WD without putting it in neutral and while moving, however, You must be in neutral and rolling to shift from 4 LO to 4 HI, then to 2 HI
