Initially set the appointment up with Jim who was very cordial from the beginning. I told him the problem he explained what he thought needed to be done. I brought the car to the shop. They gave me a ride back home then Jim called and explained what exactly needed to be done and the cost. He answered all my questions and felt confident that the job would be done well...in which it was! I will definitely recommend them to all my friends.

these engines are notorious for bad oil pressure sending units. If you have NO engine noise you probably have a bad sending unit. They are hard to change because of the location at the back top of the engine.

The oil change light on the Honda will result in very long intervals between changes. We have found that changing the oil every 5000 miles will prolong the life of the engine and give you overall better service. These small engines have to work very hard to keep up with Houston traffic and are subject to high heat, dirty air and often long idle periods in traffic. Check your owners manual for the severe driving conditions service recommendations and follow that.

The car jerks at 40mph and the check engin...
When the check engine lamp comes on Toyota will usually disable the trac control and Lo range to protect the engine. The jerking you feel is what has the check engine lamp on. It could be a simple misfire caused by a bad plug, or as bad as internal engine problems. That needs to be looked at soon.

My 2001 Jeep Cherokee will not start I do ...
This is a complex electrical system to run the pump with several fuses involved. The best test is to check for 12 volts at pin 30 of the fuel pump relay key off and 85 with the key on. If you have power there the main feed is good. Apply power to pin 87 in the relay slot and the pump should run if it is good.
Control of the relay is done by both the ASD (automatic shut down relay) and the engine computer. They respectively provide power and ground to operate the fuel pump relay.
If you do not have power on pin 30 use a test lamp to check each fuse in all the boxes to make sure they are good.
You should look at fuses 6, 19, 24 and 26 in the Power Distribution Center (where the relay is) and fuse 12 in the Junction Block (the other fuse block)

Just bought a new battery car rode well 4 ...
Pushrod is right, the charging system needs to be thoroughly tested. We could also use some more information about what is going on when the car fails to start. What accessories are working, or not? Does the clock on the dash reset when this happens? Do your dash warning lights come on like they would normally but the car fails to crank over? Do you hear any sounds when you try to start the car?
All of these questions can point to a particular failure, other than the alternator or battery. We would be happy to take a look at it for you if you would like to call and schedule it in,

First you have to find out what is really wring with it. It could be the monitor, a leak anyplace in the system, the pump or a solenoid that has failed. Guessing could be an expensive way to diagnosis this system.
The ESIM is located in the left rear quarter panel and not difficult to change.

If you have replaced the alternator and battery and the light is still on we either have a bad replacement alternator (possible but not likely) or there is another problem with the system. We need to check the circuit to and from the alternator to be sure that it is getting the command to charge and that the charge can actually go to the battery. We have seen problems with wiring on these Fords.

Yes, it can be true. However, we always recommend an independent inspection when you are buying a used car. A pre-purchase inspection can help prevent buying a disaster of a car.
At Freedom we do a 2 level inspection. First is visual and a road test, that is no charge. Second is more in depth check that takes about an hour and cost 110. That can save you a lot of money later.

First question is do you really have no oil pressure or just a false reading? Does the engine make rattling noise? If so you need to check the oil level with the dip stick first, then double check that you used the right filter. If those are good I would recommend towing it to a shop you trust and having it checked out.

You need a minimum of 45 psi fuel pressure for this to run right. You can have fuel coming out of the line but not enough pressure to operate the injectors properly.
Dodge/Ram had a problem with fuel pumps.

There is a coolant leak thats coming from ...
there are 2 coolant lines running to the throttle body and they serve as an intake air warmer for colder climates. You can bypass this by connecting the 2 hoses together to keep the flow going but not through the throttle body. A piece of metal tubing and a couple of clamps will do it.
The plug that came out is the cap for where the coolant passages are drilled. It can be replaced if you can find the right size to tap in there.

You ,most likely have a bad drivers door module. It controls the windows and tell the radio to turn off when you get out of the car. Here is the test procedure, but you really should have someone like Freedom Auto read the system with a scanner before you waste a lot of time chasing your tail. Also the DDM has to be programmed to the car.
1. . The DDM fuses include fuse 20 (20 amp) of the Battery Junction Box (BJB), and fuses 7 (5 amp) and 22 (10 amp) of the Central Junction Box (CJB).

2. Access the Driver Door Module (DDM) and perform power and ground testing at the module connection. The DDM is located inside the driver's door itself and will require removing the door panel for access.

3. If the DDM power and ground circuits appear to be ok, it will suggest failure of the DDM.
What would cause the vehicle to jerk, and ...
There too many possibilities to list.. The most common problem is fuel pressure issues due to a bad pump, but it could also be ignition breakdown, stopped exhaust system or a bad transmission..
Does the car sound asthmatic, like it can't breathe? If so it may be the catalytic converter stopped up.
Some basic testing will be necessary to figure out what is going on with this one.

I agree with Cliff's Car-Tech that this sounds like more than one problem going on. To me it sounds like you may have a bent rim and/or warped brake rotors causing the vibration and wobble. I always recommend installing the factory catalytic converter. If you can not afford that you can contact a muffler shop and have an aftermarket installed. Catalytic converters have precious metals in the for the reaction to clean the exhaust. When price is cut so is the amount of these metals. The aftermarket converters tend to last about 18 months from my experience.
