Brake fluid may leak under the hood internally from the master cylinder into the brake booster.  This fluid leak may not be visible, but eventually would cause loss of front brake system operation. This would increase risk of an accident.

The automatic transmission may unexpectedly and suddenly shift into first gear, regardless of vehicle speed. This could cause the vehicle to jerk and slow without warning and lock the rear tires causing them to slide without warning. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and injury.

The passenger seat has a mechanism that determines if an occupant in the seat is an adult that should have protection offered by the passenger frontal air bag in the event of an accident. This mechanism also turns off the air bag and prevents its deployment in the event it detects a child in the seat. The system may malfunction and shut down the passenger side air bag preventing deployment when the seat massage feature is active, even with an adult in the seat. This increases risk of injury.
