The driver's side seat back frame on a manually reclining seat may not be welded sufficiently, and may not protect an occupant in a crash.
A rear suspension component called a toe link may fracture and result in the vehicle suspension becoming unstable. This could result in loss of vehicle control and lead to an accident.
The engine block heaters equipped on affected vehicles may overheat, resulting in a possible fire risk.

The inside door handles may not return to the fully stowed position. This can cause the corresponding door to become unlatched.
A malfunction of the electric power steering system can occur, causing loss of steering assist. This could make it difficult to steer and control the vehicle.
