What Should You Do?

We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; the seat pivot bracket may break. Please contact your Ford dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.

Summary:

Improper welds on some 40 percent split and captain's driver seats may allow the seat back to break at the seat pivot bracket.
