i already changed the high pressure oil pump
keeps kicking fuel pump handle off/even with small amount entering or runs gasoline back out on ground. takes forever to re-fuel.Mechanic looked and blew air into tank, said he saw nothing wrong. Could a vent hose be mashed, colapsed, evape. cannister plugged,or vent plugged. no codes, but cussing at fuel station un-necessary
Will run great and out of no where its like someone turns the key off. checked Ficm (replaced ficm just incase) still doing same thing will run for days or min then shut down most time will start back up other times will take an hour. The only other sign it sometimes gives us is it misses/cuts out once an awhile and then usally with in sometime the truck will shut down, other times truck shuts down with no warning.. When its Cold it seems to run the best dont seem to shut down early mornings. Running a Edge chip checked for codes getting a U105 Lost communication with Ficm meaning?? Very frustrating please help any sugestions Thanks.
Lost turbo boost after turbo hose clamp blew off eventhough replaced clamp and hose as before. Truck had been repaired by Ford for not starting when it got hot but would start after cooling down. Why did I loose the boost but truck would pull with engine and transmission all the way home.
It came on and a day later the message center say's "check fuel cap" My truck has the 5.4 Gas engine with about 33,000 miles on it. Also the truck runs fine. I did, clean the cap and tighten it down. After about 6 different starts both the engine light and check fuel cap are still on. Any other things I should check?
where is the ac low pressure fiting located ?
Not the sensor, the camshaft its self. Thanks for your help.
when the fuel tank reads quater tank it will not start, the gauge is accurate because when i fill it up it only takes about 20 gallons, any ideas
