Question: Ford explorer sport and it will not go into reverse.

My explorer will not go into reverse. It goes into park, drive, neutral, 1,and 2nd but when put into reverse it won't work.It just sits there and doesn't move. Fluids have been checked and all are fine. Anybody have any ideas whats wrong?

MasterHAVE SOMEONE DISCONNECT SHIFTER CABLE AND PUT IT IN REVERSE MANUALLY AND SEE IF THAT WORKS
