Ford Recalls 1991 Explorer Vehicles for Removable Sunroof Attachment Issue
Body, Interior & Misc., May 9, 1990
RepairPal Expert Overview
Ford has recalled certain 1991 Explorer vehicles because the sunroof assembly could detach from the mounting bracket and fall inside or off of the vehicle. This is due to improper fastening of the removable sunroof assembly upon re-installation. Dealers will replace the sunroof latch assemblies with latches that will secure the sunroof better.
