Foothill Auto Service
Oops, wrong svc center. I thought this was the Mercedez dealership in Foothill Ranch. (I have a total lack of confidence in this service department. We bought a used 2008 CLK350 in 2010 and there was a problem with the top no going down completely so they fixed it, but left a tool in the trunk. We noticed the car pulled to the right & since they do not come with alignemnt hardware, we had to pay >$400 for the alignment bolts. A year later we were told by a Goodyear tire dealer that the wrong front tires were on the car...sidewalls were too weak... hence improper handling. They argued with me until they looked up the specs and found out that they had put the wrong tires on the car. I never got my refund for the alignment bolts they installed, but they tried to sell us a new convertible top for $7000 when a small 3" section became unsewn... I have no confidence in this service department & have confirmed that with the management, but they do not appear to care since we only bought a pre-owned car and not a new one. We have since had further issues with the electronics on the car and 1/2 time the service department does nothing since ut's not visible when we show up. I guess they don't take the time to run the history from the memory bank of the car... We don't plan on buying another car from them and probably not a Mercedez either.)
