Question: follow up to my first question(E.T.C)5.7 hemi 136,000mls

I just went to the parts store,and one of the people hooked up an engine code reader..I came up with nothing,no codes..It was liked it was erased..But,the
E.T.C. has come on 3x..Now i'm more confused..I'm towing a trailered car 350 miles one way..so, I'm hoping this doesn't happen on my way..I hope someone has an answer for me..thank you

    go to a shop that doesn't have a generic scanner you will get codes then
