Fluids seal leaks on 2003 Mercury Sable

My Sable has the 24 valve V-6 engine with 77,000 miles and I have been experiencing fluid leak at the oil pan, transmission axles and transmission pan. Is this common on the Make? Paul Maire Austin TX

We have experienced some leaks at the engine oil pan. Often, the oil pan leak can transfer across the transmission and make it appear as a transmission leak. I suggest cleaning the affected area completely and add a oil dye so a black light can identify it accurately.
