son but wrong fluid in master cylinder 2002 pontic how do you fix it it was power string fliud or is it worth fixing it has gone though system for sure

globalhelper November 14, 2012, 12:52ReplyMasterTHE OIL MIGHT DESTROY ALL RUBBER SEAL BUT IT WILL FOR SURE LOCK UP BRAKE SYSTEM. TRY FLUSHING SYSTEM SEVERAL TIMES AFTER YOU HAVE CLEANED MASTER CYL AND REFILLED. IT MAY BE OK FOR AWHILE BUT THEN YOU MAY START TO HAVE OTHER BRAKING IISUES

Mastereventually you will have to replace ALL brake components with rubber....Master Cylinder, ABS module, Valves, Hoses, Calipers...
