fix the gas cap door on 2001 Chevrolet Venture

the gas cap door on the car will not close. it was bent out of shape when the door was opened while the car was being filled with gas. what would it cost to fix or is there a simple fix I can do myself

It should be a fairly simple fix to replace the fuel door on your 2001Chevrolet Venture Van. If you order a new part from GM it will most likely need to be painted to match your van. You can try taking the damaged on off your van to see if you are able to make the repair. As an alternative to new you could try getting a good used gas door from a wreaking yard and if the color is correct you will avoid the cost of painting the new one.
