I made an appt online, but when I came there at the time of the appointment the technicians were gone. I scheduled another appointment at which time all the technicians were at lunch. However, the service was good once the appointment finally got underway. Although I do feel like it was extremely over priced.

It was disappointing that the Quality Control was not performed on my vehicle. Items were left disconnected and I had to drive back to Fine Tune Auto for the tech to connect items. I have photos of the issues. I paid close to $1,000.00 for services that were not handled professionally. It was also disappointing that the owner or manager never contacted me regarding the service issues.
Prices were too high.
My car was there for a total of 16 days and it's has the same problem I originally came in to repair.
The mechanic went above and beyond expectation.
I've had bad experiences in the past, however these guys were very professional courteous and just downright good at their jobs. I am also a service mechanic in another field and it has always been my work ethic to treat others as I would love to be treated. It is apparent these guys operate with the same philosophy. The service at Fine Tune was professional. I will certainly refer others, and I am a permanent customer. They also provided transportation to and from the shop while my car was being serviced. That's what I call excellent customer care.

I did have to have a minor adjustment done on a set of drove belts that were installed but there was no additional charge and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Poor communication is always an issue at the location, I believe it could easily be much better.
I finally found a repair shop that does it right. You can find cheaper places but the prices are fair. You will be surprised by the level of service. They know how to fix cars buy they excel at explaining why the repair is needed.

From Danielle at the front desk to Johari, the service adviser, everyone was extremely courteous and professional. I used fine tune to address multiple issues on a 1988 Celebrity.
I was given a full breakdown of anticipated repairs/replacements along with a complete item by item cost and the final bill was exactly as quoted "no surprises". Could not be happier with their service.

Had SUV checked out before buying. Not all was checked properly, ended up having vehicle rechecked some where else. Minor but other problems noted.
Needed a wheel alignment, found this shop on the web site. This shop came recommend and had a $59 coupon so i thought I would try them. Everyone there made it a pleasant day, from the front desk guy to the receptionist, very pleasant even gave me two different rates for the parts as to what fit my pocket. They gave me a time they would have my car ready and it was ready at that time. I was very satisfied with the work.
The staff at fine tune Auto are very knowledgeable they walk you through step by step about what's going on with your car I have had my car back for a couple of weeks now and it is running like new.

I've been going to this shop since the first day they opened almost 15 years ago. I will continue to support Jason because he gives excellent customer service and care. I am concerned about the turnover of staff. As soon as you build a rapport with a staff member they are gone. What can Fine Tune do differently to helps staff members stay?? I don't know the answer but I hope this is something they can look into.

I have and will continue to recommend Fine Tune, but I have to say that I am a little disappointed with my last service. One of the things I asked to be looked at was the A/C. I said that it works but not as good as it used too. Well, your guys did look at it and the report says that it was cooling down to 60 degrees. You counter man did say that it probably is low on freon but it seemed to be cooling good enough. I accepted that until today. In the heat today, there was no way that the A/C could keep up. The reason I brought the car in was so that everything would be good for the trip I'm taking to Georgia Friday. Well I'll just have to sweat a bit. I think he should have strongly suggested that I get the system charged. In all the years you have been servicing my vehicles, I think this is the first time I'm not totally happy.
The guy at the front was really nice and friendly. I had a problem with my AC condenser which was the reason why I was there. My fiance said it was too expensive since they had to charge $501 for AC leak detection test with dye and change filters on my BMW 2008 and extra $900 for AC condenser. BMW dealership performed that test for free and charged for the condenser and replacement which would have been cheaper if I had gone there first. I won't go there again nor advice anyone to go there without comparing cost at other places.

I have the same problem, that was repaired 5/6/16. Three weeks later now I have to take it in again.

The service was good.
I realize that the correct skill set might not have been present, but our issue was incorrectly diagnosed. We took our van to another shop and they fixed it. It did not need a new water pump; it needed a new belt tensioner. It has been running fine since.
This is the first I've heard of this. If you wouldn't mind giving me a call I'd appreciate that at 708-418-5000. Although I'm surprised to hear that we were incorrect in our diagnosis, it is still possible. If this is the case then we owe you a refund of any dollar amount you paid us for the diagnosis. I have all work done at Fine Tune. They are professional, and back up their work.
I will not bring my car to fine tune for any service I was not happy that they all broke my hood it was working fine when I brought it there and I saw the service guy continuously slamming my hood and a couple of days later when I needed to get under the hood it did not work. I had to pay another garage $30 just to get it open and the fine tune guy knew he broke it before I left cause the latch was disconnected and he said nothing so I will not be bringing my car to fine for any work.

Tried to charge up front saying diag for car would take 3hrs. BMW diag was free and only took 1 hour. Since I didn't have work done here the shop wreck my car physically pulling my rear view mirror from windshield causing me to by new mirror and windshield then they went through the car and dumped everything vandalizing my car they are nothing but thugs at this shop

I had a lot of surprises when I took my car in. The staff was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done. Jahari helped me figure out a plan to get the work done and find financial assistance so I could pay the remaining balance later. I still have more work to get done but, now I have a plan.

I went to the auto repair store for a specific item. I had to pay for the analysis and then we it was confirmed that the service that I wanted was necessary, the representative told that unless I fix the oil leak then they would not do the work. Their own mechanic said that the work need to be done; however, it should not have any warranty account of the oil leak. That was fair; however, that is not what their customer service representative stated. It seemed that they were more interested in fixing my oil leak, which was a more lucrative endeavor compared to replacing the front sway links.

I thought the service was very poor.
I brought the car in for an oil change and an inspection that was due on my next visit. After I received my car I was told about a hub/bearing along with I need a new alternator I also had lights on my dashboard on that was not on when I brought my car in.
I think they are very expensive.

I never heard of of a place to charge for shop supplies, they did not tell me that until I got there to pick up my bill. They told me one price on the phone an another when I got there.

I will get right to the point. We live not very far from this place is the second reason I went there for my needed services, and since I was in a hurry to do something else at another place in that area. The first reason is your advertisement received in our mail was very convincing that your business would do just what I wanted in a very professional manor, which was done in a satisfactory way, but the unacceptable service was that what I went there for should have been simple and in short order, but as I kept waiting and finally asked the front desk person if he would check to see about how much longer it would be. I learned that a complete review and test of just about every thing on and in the vehicle was being done and recommended that I consider permitting them to preform these services, which is not at all what I went there for, and don't appreciate infringing on my time trying to find problems with my vehicle.

Fine Tune is one of the most honest, efficient, nicest auto repair shops I have ever been to. The shop is clean and they explain repairs in a manner anyone can understand. Also pricing is reasonable. They let you know if something is urgent or can wait so you can budget for the repairs.
