GM is blaming the fuel fill nozzles for the fuel filling problem you are having with your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. Does your particular problem happen at every gas station and when using different style fuel fill nozzles?

Ask around for a free check engine light code check. Many places will do this free of charge. My guess is code P0446 is set. This is the evap emission control vent. If so it will be nearly impossible to fill your tank in one shot without the nozzle shutting off. It can be faily expensive to replace the carbon canister located on the top of the gas tank. But you can often remove, clean with an airhose, then replace ...end of problem.
