Fill the transmission on 2004 Volkswagen Jetta

While trying to drain the oil in my 2004 Jetta, we accidentally removed the plug holding the transmission fluid in place. (our experience is very limited with VW's) Now do my point, how do we go about replacing the lost transmission fluid? Thanks in advance

use the right fluid or you will damage the trans. there are special fluids used in vw/audi and differ from trans to trans, year to year.
