FIAT Recalls

Manual Transmission Clutch Fails To Operate

The manual transmission clutch diaphragm spring may fracture and fail resulting in the clutch failing to operate and keeping the driver from being able to shift gears. Dealers will install a clutch pedal limiter and a clutch pedal switch free of charge to resolve the concern.

Automatic Transmission May Shift To Neutral

The automatic transmission may unexpectedly shift into neutral while driving. Dealers will reprogram the EVCU free of charge to resolve the concern.

Potential Loss of Braking Ability

Certain vehicles were assembled with contaminated brake fluid and may experience a degradation of the sealing components within the brake system. This could lead to a loss of braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash. To address this problem, dealers will replace all of the brake components that come in contact with the brake fluid.
