Can a faulty or worn ignition switch make my car turn off while driving without any warning?

    Absolutely common problem with the Accord. Call your dealer ask it there was a recall affecting your vehicle! Main relay/fuel pump relay is another common failure.

    I called the Honda hotline and they said my car was not affected by the recall they just ran my vin #. My car still turns off but not as much I have done a complete tune up myself and the dealer charges me $104 and I don't wnt to waste that money if all I need is a part that's $50. What's ur opinion?

    Yes. It happened to us. The replacement switch was $54 and took only a few minutes for me to replace.
