fan won't turn off on 2002 BMW 325i

the fan will not turn off when the car is switched off. i replaced the blower motor resistor not to long ago, so i don't think that's the problem but i am not sure what else can be the problem. i took the fuse number 50 out to turn the blower off because it drained my battery.

You most likely have a sticking 'on' Cooling Fan Relay, which is not uncommon on a BMW

I was wondering if you got your fan to shut off and how, cuz I'm having the same problem with my '02 325i? thanks

This same thing happened to me. I have an '04 Impala. My alternator and battery are both less than a week old.
