NOISE IN FAN WHEN AIR CONDITION TURN ON , WHY

    It could possibly be a fan clutch problem at the front of the compressor, sometimes there isn't much of a price difference in the parts between a full compressor and just the clutch but to replace the compressor the whole system needs to be evacuated, the compressor replaced and the system then refilled with refrigerant. If the clutch is available separate the system does not need to be evacuated to replace it.

    is this the engine cooling fan or the a/c blower?
