Question: fan for heater/AC

 Rookie

when I go to turn on the fan on my S-10 for heat etc it won't come on every time one time it does next time it doesn't. What part do I need to replace

    It sounds like the fan switch is failing, it's possible the resistor is going too but it's best to check the switrch electrically before buying one.

    Thanks Superbob, I will get that checked out I appreciate your getting back on this I thought the switch might be the problem but wasn't thinking about the resistor.Will let ya know what happenes. Have a Great Day
