     Rookie

    My fan knob seized up on my heater/ ac control modual. I have a analog modual w vacume ports. eventually i snapped the knob off trying to turn it. upon removal i noticed there was an electrical flare up on the fan control diodes. pretty bad one too. so there is some type of safety on it stopping you from moving it if you have a failure so "DONT FORCE IT" it seized for a reason. this part is non-serviceable! good news is there is a recall, i guess people were crashing because they could not run the defrost without the fan, i was eligable but as on all recalls not everyone is, good luck, Jasen Walsh, Salem Mass
