FAN BELT on 2005 Ford Taurus

REPLACED 2 PULLEYS NOW BELT IS WAY TOO LOOSE. WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Did you match the new pulleys with the old to make sure the diameter was the same, because they are two different 3.0 engine available for your taurus ( SOHC and DOHC ) single and dual overhead camshaft and they use different pulleys and tensioners and if they match up.
