2001 Ford Windstar Question: False Brake warning light keeps coming on

I recently bought a 2001 Ford Windstar SE Sport with 19,000 miles. The warning light for both brake systems comes on as well as the low air tire light. Brake warning resets when turned off, tire does not. All tires have 35 pounds and brakes work fine. Car was serviced by Ford dealer prior to lights coming on and everything checked out ok?

it is not a false light. the 2 brake lights indicate a abs malfunction that you need to check out. the tire light is an early form of tpms. it uses the abs system to determine the pressure in the tires.
take it to a shop or back to the place you bought it from and have the problem repaired.

I live in NJ and I just took it through the full inspection process which includes checking brakes. It passed with no problem? If there was an ABS problem wouldn't the light stay on? I had that with my 1998 Windstar and it stayed on until the dealer made the repair.

There is a recall on this vehicle for brakes or axles. That might be the problem.
