Windshield Wipers May Fail Due to Faulty Wiper Motor Control Board on Isuzu Hombre

On vehicles with intermittent windshield wipers, the wiper motor circuit board may fail and cause the wipers to stop working at times. Replacing the circuit board should resolve the issue. Some vehicles were recalled for this problem and some were not. You will need to check with your local dealer to find out if a specific vehicle was included.

2000 Isuzu Hombre 137,000 mi,
only have fast and medium speed options of the wind sheild wipers. cleaned plug worked for awhile then quit again
1997 Isuzu Hombre 78,000 mi,
Wiper motor did not function when activated, no noises could be heard. Manually pulling the wiper blade an inch would activate the wiper motor for it's full cycle, sometimes allowing it to continue operation, but sometimes only for a single cycle. Replacing the pulse board module solved the issue, no other repairs done.
Intermittent Wiper and I have found out that the PCB broken connecting the motor terminals, i just clean the pcb solder it with jumper to have a stronger connection. it is now 3yrs since and still working.
1996 Isuzu Hombre 152,700 mi,
