Windshield Wipers May Fail Due to Faulty Wiper Motor Control Board on GMC Envoy

On vehicles with intermittent windshield wipers, the wiper motor circuit board may fail and cause the wipers to stop working at times. Replacing the circuit board should resolve the issue. Some vehicles were recalled for this problem and some were not. You will need to check with your local dealer to find out if a specific vehicle was included.

THE WIPERS STOPPED AND THEN STARTED. NOW HAVE COMPLETELY STOPPED. THIS IS CRAZINESS. AND ITS NOT THE MOTOR OR THE SWITCH. TRYING TO FIGURE HOW MUCH IT IS TO GET THIS REPLACED OR FIXED. UGGGH
2006 GMC Envoy 90,000 mi,
wipers come on automatically and will not shut off. the washer fluid motor also runs constantly. we pull the fuse for the wiper motor unless it is raining and then we put it back in until we either get where we are going or it stops raining. I cnat find part numbers for the circuit board but the wiper motor is 75 bucks most everywhere. not sure how to change it or I would have already.
2004 GMC Envoy 97,800 mi,

2006 GMC Envoy 150,000 mi,
Windshield wipers go on automatically and will not stop. I can hear the pump to my sprayers going, but the sprayers will no longer work.
The wippers abrupty came on full fast & now will not turn off or even move to a slower setting, The GMC dealer in town said it needed a new curcuit board & it will take a few days. looked up the recalls & found they had this issue with 2002 & 2003 GMC vehicles what was changed to ensure I don't have same problem.
Wipers worked fine until I tried to turn them off. Wipers stayed at the same speed even when I placed the switch on the off position. The wipers increased speed when placed on high.
This past winter I had my wiper motor replaced on my passenger side. Had it done at dealership. It was very expensive.
My windshield wipers will only work on high and no other setting.
wipers will not shut off and constantly sprays wiper fluid. have to take wiper fuses out and put back in when raining. No fix. Trying to see what others have done to correct. Should be recalled by GMC since so many people have this issue.
2006 GMC Envoy 164,996 mi,

2004 GMC Envoy 78,000 mi,
Wipers stopped working, unless you have them switched to FULL SPEED. They will run full speed (loud and annoying unless you're in a downpour) and they will not auto reset back to the base. Super annoying.
