Vehicle will not accelerate beyond 30 mph and stalls when stopped.
1997 Buick Century- 3.3L V6130,341
Hasn't been fixed yet, but engine stalled randomly and now just wont start.
2001 Buick Century- 3.1L V661,000
Engine would intermittently stall when driving or fail to start. Fuel pump, sensor, and fuel filter were replaced twice to deal with this problem (at 61K miles and again at 83K miles). It became very sluggish again and stalled AGAIN while driving, and I was rear-ended by a semi when it just quit completely on the highway without warning. My car was totaled...aside from the broken ribs, collarbone, and wrist, it was the best day of my life. The Buick Century is a dangerous car with so many reported and known problems ranging from inconvenient to quite possibly deadly; I'm surprised GM hasn't been sued yet over this vehicle's far, far substandard quality.
