Question: Extremely loud sound when I turn the AC fan up

My car is making an extremely loud sound when I turn the AC fan up. It seems ok at the first notch, but after that, it's impossible to hear anything else but the loud noise.
I am thinking it's either the fan or the AC compressor. Any ideas?

Rookieyou only have 1 fan there is not 2 seperate fans for a/c and heat, check to see if its noisy with the engine shut off and only the fan running, if it is then it is probaly your heater motor that is bad or the fan is rubbing on something when it gets up to speed,
