I have a 2005 CTS with 43,000 miles and the warranty expiring. Based on the maintenance history of the 2005 CTS and assuming I will put 30,000 miles on the CTS in the next three years is it worth paying $2,000 for an extended warranty. Does the CTS have a history of major repairs taking place between 40,000 miles and 70,000 miles. I would appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks

Even taking into account the usual deductible, on hirer end cars I have usually gotten my moneys worth. Prior to the warentee expiring have a thorough examination of your car done.

$666 a year is fair to know that all repairs will be covered,If the transmission fails or any other major repair is needed you would be $$ ahead.
