2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Question: Expert Advise

, Jacksonville, FL, January 11, 2010, 19:15

Hi I'm looking at buying a 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK-320 cabriolet convertible with 64K miles. The vehicle is in excellent shape and it has all its maintenance records. I have always heard that the maintenance and repair is expensive. Before I leap into buying it I wanted to get an expert opinion.

What type of mechanical issues can I expect (if any)?
What is the cost (per hour) to repair it?
What is your opinion on the CLK-320?

Hi! The maintenance and repair for Mercedes cars is very expensive. Make sure you have a really good Mercedes guy check it over. Take a look at the maintenance estimates on RepairPal: http://repairpal.com/estimator and the common problems page on RepairPal: http://repairpal.com/mercedes-benz-clk320-2005/common_problems

great overall car experience especially if its loaded with specs and options, however the squeaks of the convertible would be an issue and a headache since it does squeak and make a lot of noises, however that can be solved by raising volume up if you have a Bose system, amazing sound experience..
