    I think it tell you the your timing is off or out could be timing belt or a simple knock sensor for the timing to be set in the pcm

    Knock sensor is not going to keep your car from starting, crank sensor will.

    Have some CRANK sensor problems on this engine, without code! Scan test a must to check for signal from crank sensor.-------Or just guess at it.
