Exhaust Manifold on 1995 Toyota Corolla

Is it difficult to change the exhaust manifold and should it cost over 600.00 as a toyota dealer told me it would?

The manifold is not that difficult to replace if none of the hardware breaks off due to rusted bolts. The manifolds due crack relatively frequently on the Corolla. Several aftermarket companies make exhaust manifolds. Just one company I know of is Dorman. Call about see if any independent Toyota repair shop can give you a better price. Skill level to replace the manifold is not that high.
