2008 Mercury Milan Question: Excess Rear Brake Wear @ 28k miles

Visitor, 3.0L V6, Brunswick, OH, March 26, 2010, 07:37

My Milan has 28,000 miles and the rear brakes need to be replaced. The front brakes are fine. Is there any issues with the 2008 Milan that would cause the rear brakes to wear out at 28,000 miles?

The rear brake pads are always smaller in size compared to the fronts and sometimes will wear out faster, So make sure you purchase the best pads so you can get the maximum life

I have a 2007 mercury Milan with 37200 miles and it is going to need another set of rear brakes. It has only been 4000 miles since the last set yet the dealer says there is nothing wrong with the car making them wear out so quickly.
