  MAJOR RIP OFF - DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH EXACT CAR CARE.

  DO YOUR OWN INTERNET SEARCH - ALL THE NEGATIVE REPORTS ARE TRUE!!!! LOOK AT THE BBB REPORTS!

  TOOK MY CAR IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND BY A FLUKE WE FOUND THEY PUT MY USED OIL BACK IN MY CAR or MAYBE JUST CHANGED THE OIL FILTER FOR LOOKS.

  EVERYONE I TALK TO LOCALLY IS SAYING THE SAME NEGATIVE THINGS - WE ARE PASSING A PETITION TO GET HIS BUSINESS LICENSE REVOKED. IMMEDIATELY!

  DON'T SETTLE WITH THIS GUY OR LET HIM TOUCH YOUR CAR AFTER THE FACT.

  NOT ALL OF HIS MECHANICS ARE ASE CERTIFIED LIKE THEY ADVERTISE... BUT THEY ARE DOING THE WORK THAT YOU GET CHARGED FOR.

  NOT EVERYBODY USES THE INTERNET THESE DAYS... SO HERE IS SOME OTHER FEEDBACK:

  ONE FRIEND STATED SHE EVEN TOOK A CAN OF FOOD IN FOR HIS DISCOUNT AND NOW SHE HAS REASON TO BELIEVE THROUGH A FRIEND OF ANOTHER FRIEND THAT HE TAKES WHAT FOOD HE WANTS FOR HIS OWN FAMILY AND MAYBE DONATES THE REST.

  **UPDATE**
  After taking Exact Car Care to court, the owner told me the falsification of the work was done by a rogue employee (who was fired). The owner replaced my engine, gave me a warranty on the work done, and even offered free oil changes for a year to make up for my difficult time. I am giving him 2 more stars for making things right.

  **ORIGINAL POST**
  Took car in to get transmission fixed through an extended warranty. Exact Car Care said I needed a new engine as well. Warranty company allowed the engine replacement.

  Months later I had an airbag recall and took my car to the Honda dealership for the repair. I had always suspected that Exact Car Care did not do the work they claimed they did and I was right! The Honda dealership confirmed that the engine was not replaced.

  I had to pay over $300 in shop supplies for work that wasn't even done. Add to that the fact that they ordered the wrong transmission in the beginning and ended up keeping my car for over 2 months and the consensus is: "Beware of this repair shop!" I am now going through litigation with them to try to get my money back.
