I arrived at noon to have the oil leak on my Mercedes checked. I left my car with the understanding that I should return after lunch to discuss their recommendations. Three hours later, nothing had been done. So I waited another two hours, at which point I was told that they had no idea what was wrong, but had a list of what the problem might be. I asked for a printout and was greeted with the news that I owed them $64.99 for their nonnews. They gave me a canned printout. I feel really ripped off.
Thanks, Ralph, for calling me about my experience. I appreciate your follow-up note that "If you should try us again, I will personally see to it that you don't have another experience like that here at my shop."

Brought in my A3 for a last minute 85k service. The staff was very friendly and worked within my time constraints really well. The facility was very clean and they seemed to be incredibly knowledgeable. I definitely plan on coming back for future work.

Alex,
I'm sorry to hear that the Check engine light came on.
As I'm sure you know we would at no charge take a look at why the check engine light is on for you.
As an older client once said, That's why pencils have erasers on the end - so you could fix your mistakes.
Thanks for the Posting and let us take care of it for you.

One of my cars is 12 years old, and the other is 14 years old, but they both still look and run as if they were new, thanks to European Auto Works.

Yes Lucian,
Recommended repairs are just that, Recommendations.
We can all ignore the recommendations till it becomes a major issue.
That's why we prioritize the repairs in order of importance.
Please call if you have any questions.

European Auto works nailed my Volvo problem, unlike the dealer, who actually refused to acknowledge there had been a recall for this PRECISE problem...they lied! Everyone at European Auto Works treats you with respect, courtesy and, most importantly, HONESTY! These are the people you want on your team!

European Auto Works has been serving my cars for over 20 years. I was referred to them when I had a problem with my BMW that no other shop in town could resolve. Since then I have used them exclusively except one out of state shop (a nightmare) for my daughter's Volvo, my BMW and now an Audi.
If you are looking for a shop that has well trained and conscientious technicians, one that pays attention to detail and goes about every aspect of the business with professionalism, I would highly recommend that you talk with Ralph or Cliff at European Auto Works.

Hi Johanna,
I just looked at the Invoice when you were here for the above mentioned work back in October. (over three months ago)
I do have to apologize if we did not keep our agreed upon estimated time of completion.
As for your assumption that we didn't know what was going on with your car is simply not true.
We clearly identified three area's of oil leakage on the engine and gave you specific cost to repair each one.
I think it's a shame that you see no value in the time and effort that was invested in your 1999 Mercedes C280 with 151,000 Miles on it.
Over and beyond the oil leak we gave you an itemized list of other issues with the car. (Suspension, Tires etc.) We consulted with you on prioritizing the repairs etc.
I'm sorry that you don't see the value in the amount of the work we did.
We not only gave you the Oil Leak diagnosis at a price we agreed on prior to starting the inspection, but we also gave you a lot more information on the condition of your Mercedes.
I call that value.
Take care
Ralph and Team
