Question: ETS & ASR Lights are coming on and staying lit

Hello, My Mercedes C220 (1996) has 100098 miles & this week, the ASR (acceleration slip regulation) & the ETS (electronic traction system) lights both light up and stay lit until I turn off the car. Does anyone know how this can be fixed and what an approximate cost would be? I live in the northern Illinois area. Thank you very much.

    you need to let a local shop specializing in MB diagnose
    this problem. they can give you and estimate after they
    find out what diagnostic codes are found. (note: the
    parts stores that offer free scanning will have the correct software for this car)

    Hello, This is most likely to need a brake light switch but we would have to read out the ecm to verify this. Sincerely, North Pointe Motors.
