I was stopped in gear with air and radio on, when all of a sudden the engine ran rough and quit. I had a hard time starting it, once started it would only run at rough idle speed. I drove it about 2 mile pulled over, turned the motor off, then restarted the engine, It ran perfectly and the ETC warning light went out.FYI outside temp about 92F So whats up with the ETC? Thanks

We had something similar to this happen to my wife with her 2004 Durango and took it in to dodge because we had a extended warranty and they changed the EGR valve and it solved the problem, I don't know which light came on in the dash as she was driving it and it went out after she restarted it, but I think its common because the service writer knew exactly what happened when we dropped it off, we hooked a scan tool up to it and the code was for a faulty EGR. Have a tech scan for a code.
