The 2002 Chrysler Town & Country has several different problems with the transmission that come with age and mileage. It is not always necessary to replace the transmission. It could be overhauled, replaced using a remanufactured and warrantied transmission, brand new transmission, or may only require a fluid replacement to fix the problem that is of concern. Because of the complexity of the transmissions and the technological skills required to properly diagnose a transmission problem, we invite you for a free inspection at Miami Lakes Chrysler Jeep located just off the Palmetto & 57th Avenue. Regardless of the job, Miami Lakes Chrysler Jeep has a repair price guarantee that is competitive with any independent shop but comes with real factory trained technicians that can fix the problem right the first time. For your free inspection that can hopefully save you money, please call Jorge Gonzalez at 305 558 1400 or stop by Miami Lakes Chrysler Jeep, no appointments necessary.

I paid $2000.00 for a new transmission installed. Go to a transmission specialist. I did not and my car ended up at the Chrysler dealership! Zip 37206 Nashville, TN

cost will vary from $1800 to $2400 to rebuilt it. Usually the coolant radiator has leak radiator fluid in the trans, causing it to go bad, this means you have to put in a coolant radiator which is about $200. Getting a firm price from shops is difficult. Keep calling repair shops until you get a firm price and a 3 yr guarantee. Good luck. PS. Don't even think about a used one. That will cost you $1400 plus Parts with 100,000 miles on it.
