Question: Estimate of cost to replace rusted brake line

brake line rusted. need replacement or repair cost estimate.

    Its impossible to say exactly what the cost would be. My boss just says straight time. Who ever is doing the job patients is required not strip anything out, use of heat (a torch and penetrating oil will probably be needed). It depends which brake line is stripped but you would imagine it couldn't take more than an hout and fifteen minutes to 1.5 hours.

    If you are good working on cars you can buy the tools to replace the line and a 100ft of line on ebay for around $50. I bought line and replaced all of the lines on my 1995 taurus. It took about 6 hours to replace the lines on the car. I can double flare an end in about 3 minutes but the bending of the lines takes a long time to make it look nice. My grandma had a quote of $800 to replace the lines on her car.
