My car's malfunction light has been on for the past week, and yesterday after waiting at a stop light and accelerating slowy through it, the engine cut off. I tried going to Auto Zone, but they only do OBDII error read outs on cars 96 and on. They recommended another place, but they also didn't have an OBDI. I don't want to go to the dealership because I heard they cost more to diagnose than just buying an OBDI myself, but I'd rather it be done for free...Where can I go for an affordable OBDI error code read out? Please help!

Your 1995 Maxima has On Board Diagnostics 1 (OBD1). OBD1 standards did not require a standardized test connector. Trouble codes are read at the computer under the dash board/center console area of your car.
